Option Care Health is seeking a Compounding Technician II to join our team in Peachtree Corners, GA. Under a licensed Pharmacist, you will compound medications, assist with preparation, and ensure accuracy and safety in a clean room environment.

This role requires a CPhT, at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, and strong math, organization, and MS Office skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with company match, HSA match,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• CPhT licensed or registered as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with prescription compounding, preparation, and processing per policy.
• Prepare medications to ensure accurate compounding.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Help ensure quality by reviewing compounded and packaged medications.
• Ensure all compounding and packaging are approved by a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods cleanliness.
• Calibrate equipment for accurate functioning.
• Record and maintain pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
• Train and mentor Compounding Technician I staff.
