Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support compounding operations under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. You will assist with preparation, labeling, and processing of medications in a clean-room environment.

Strong math, organization, and customer service skills are essential. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, and current licensure where required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with prescription compounding, preparation, and processing.
• Prepare medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Accurately label and package medications.
• Participate in reporting medication-related incidents.
