Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a compounding technician I under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist to work in a clean room and assist with compounding medications at least 50% of the time.

The role supports safe, accurate operations within our home infusion care framework. Responsibilities include preparation and processing of medications, labeling and packaging, basic calculations, and maintaining logs and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy technician experience.
• Licensed or registered if state requires.
• Experience providing customer service.
• Basic math and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with prescription compounding and preparation.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in incident reporting and quality processes.
• Maintains cleanliness of pharmacy surfaces and equipment.
