Option Care Health in Georgia is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to work under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, performing compounding and processing in a clean room environment to ensure safe, accurate operations.

You will assist with prescription compounding, labeling, and packaging, maintain logs, and support medication safety initiatives while providing excellent service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies and procedures and state regulations.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in assessing, managing, and reporting medication-related incidents.
• Maintains pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
