Option Care Health, Inc. is hiring a Compounding Technician I who works under a licensed pharmacist to prepare medications in a clean room, with at least 50% of time devoted to compounding to ensure safe, accurate operations.

The role involves assisting with preparation and dispensing, basic calculations, accurate labeling and packaging, and contributing to incident reporting. Requires a high school diploma and 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).

Responsabilités

• Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in reporting medication related incidents.
