Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join the compounding team in a clean room environment. Under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, you will assist with preparation, dispensing, and processing of medications while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.

You will perform basic calculations, maintain logs, and support a high standard of patient safety. This role requires some standing and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, with opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
• Prepares medications for accurate compounding.
• Labels and packages medications.
• Maintains pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
