Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a Compounding Pharmacist in Avondale, AZ to oversee compounding operations, supervise technicians, and ensure quality checks in compliance with USP and state regulations.

You will counsel patients, verify records and manage documentation, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and collaborating with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on regulatory matters. Strong math and English skills required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License is required.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Non-sterile compounding experience.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters
