Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona (Litchfield Park) to join a health and wellness organization recognized for a Best Workplace in Health Care. As a licensed pharmacist with compounding expertise, you will supervise technicians, perform quality checks, and ensure USP/BOP compliance.

Shifts: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM or 5:30 PM–4:00 AM. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, generous PTO, 401(k) with matching, stock options, and a monthly utility stipend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy required.
• Active AZ Pharmacist License required.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience; compounding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience
• Non-sterile compounding experience
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations
• Strong math skills
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems
• Multi-state licensure preferred
