Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a Compounding Pharmacist to join a health and wellness organization recognized for quality and a Best Workplace in health care. You will supervise technicians, perform compounding, verify formulas, and ensure compliance with USP and regulatory standards.

The role requires a PharmD or BPharm, active Arizona license, 2+ years' experience in compounding, strong math, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License.
• 2+ years pharmacist experience.
• Non-sterile compounding experience.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800> regulations.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
• Multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
