Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to supervise technicians, perform compounding and quality checks, and ensure compliance with USP, BOP, and state/federal standards. The role involves patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews in a dynamic health-focused environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy degree, active AZ license, and 2+ years of experience in compounding, with strong math skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy required.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License required.
• Pharmacist experience with compounding and quality checks.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass respirator fit testing and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Multistate licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
