Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Aircraft Composite Bonder Level 2 or 3 for the Palmdale, CA site. The role involves hands-on bonding of composite and metal parts, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining stringent quality standards.

Two salary levels apply: Level 2 requires at least 2 years in composites; Level 3 requires 5 years. Availability of relocation assistance and potential overtime/bonuses are noted, with US citizenship for clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required for both Level 2 and Level 3.
• Minimum 2 years of composites experience for Level 2 in aerospace/military/manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 5 years of composites experience for Level 3 in aerospace/military/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Bond dissimilar materials into finished products.
• Lay out parts and materials to size.
• Apply bonding agents and inspect finished products.
• Operate autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens per specs.
• Ensure quality and implement continuous improvements.
