Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks a Compliance Manager to oversee LIHTC/HUD compliance across housing properties in Oregon. You will work with on-site and corporate teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met, perform audits, and implement corrective actions.

The role requires 1–2 years of LIHTC experience, knowledge of HUD and Section 8 programs, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across staff and agencies. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of on-site or compliance experience processing LIHTC (Section 42) cert. paperwork.
• Experience with HUD, Section 8, 202, and/or 811 programs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with on-site and corporate staff to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Travel as required by business needs.
• Perform audits and implement solutions.
• Provide administrative support, including data entry into compliance reporting systems, filing, and ongoing file maintenance.
• Conduct ongoing training for on-site staff on LIHTC, Fair Housing, and additional compliance procedures.
• Process commissions for move-ins and re-certifications.
• Communicate with Local Housing Authority and State Agency staff on compliance matters.
• Assist in Mass Recertifications/Re-syndication/Lease ups/Acquisitions.
• Review property management software data for accuracy.
• Ensure correct 60/50% Tax Credit, Bond, and RDA unit counts per property.
• Follow up and retrieve all Utility Allowances and income/rent limits.
