Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a QA/Compliance Coordinator to support across sites and services. The role focuses on site and Individual Served Record audits, EVV compliance, attendance and training audits, and updating audit documentation.

Reports to the Chief Compliance and Development Officer and is hourly, non-exempt. Requires experience in quality assurance and strong organizational skills, with a focus on confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–3 years QA/compliance experience.
  • Experience delivering services to vulnerable adults or children is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate site audits on a quarterly basis with the CCDO.
  • Ensure semi-annual Individual Served Record audits and EVV compliance monitoring.
  • Complete monthly attendance audits and quarterly training audits.
  • Maintain audit tracking documentation and support policy updates.
  • Participate in Safety Committee and assist with communications to services and training teams.

Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance across all sites and services. This includes coordinating site and Individual Served Record audits, monitoring Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance, completing attendance and training audits, maintaining audit tracking documentation, and supporting policy and procedure updates.

This position reports to the Chief Compliance and Development Officer (CCDO). The position is classified as hourly, non-exempt.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Site audits:
  • In coordination with the CCDO, ensures each site is audited on a quarterly basis.
  • Submits site audit correction orders to the Residential Director (RD) with a correction due date.
  • Individual Served Record audits:
  • In coordination with the CCDO, ensures each individual served has a record audit completed semi-annually.
  • Submits site audit correction orders to the RD with a correction due date.
  • Audits EVV data and monitors EVV compliance reports to report to the team on progress.
  • Completes monthly attendance audits.
  • Completes quarterly training audits for each level.
  • Assists with compiling Satisfaction Survey results.
  • Maintains an audit spreadsheet noting correction orders, trends, and completion dates.
  • Is a participating member of the Safety Committee meeting.
  • Assists with policy & procedure updates and communication to the services and training teams.
  • Participates in ongoing training and learning experiences such as Star Services, ARRM, DHS, and county-level trainings.
  • Maintains a firm understanding of 245D.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of company policies and procedures related to services.
  • Provides professional, enthusiastic, and efficient support to the Services Team and other Company leaders as directed.
  • Performs a variety of administrative tasks including filing, scanning, faxing, etc.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Demonstrate skills in reading, writing, and speaking the English language fluently.

  • Implement risk management measures to avoid and/or ameliorate risky practices, non-practices/incorrect practices, or violations of any sort.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing records and completing audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, auditing, case management, or a related human services field.
  • 3-5 years of experience delivering services to vulnerable adults or children.
  • Firm understanding of 245D licensing standards.
  • Qualification standards as found in 245D, Adult Foster Care, Background Studies of Individuals Affiliated with Programs Licensed by DHS.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Works in a variety of settings inside or outside the office and at group homes or other company sites.
  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours.
  • Is subject to frequent interruptions and imposed deadlines.
  • May be subject to hostile and emotionally upset customers, staff, family members, and the public; may be subject to physically aggressive individuals.
