Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Commerce is seeking a Program Analyst I (NS) to ensure compliance with federal cross-cutting requirements and support recovery funds stewardship. You will develop policies, procedures, and training, advise on federal rules, and monitor compliance, with Section 3, DBRA, URA expertise.

The role requires travel to Western North Carolina, offers a hybrid telework option, and a competitive recruitment range. Full-time, time-limited position with State benefits.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Federal cross-cutting requirements, including DBRA, Section 3 and URA.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data, conducting program analysis and evaluation.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in development and implementation of programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine policies, procedures, guidance and training.
• Advise on federal requirements and conduct compliance monitoring.
• Serve as subject matter expert for Section 3, DBRA, URA compliance.
