Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP, a leading international law firm, seeks a mid-level associate (4-6 years) to join its complex litigation group, handling high-stakes matters in aviation and transportation. The role is open to all US offices, including Palo Alto.

Excellent writing, full litigation experience across pre-trial through trial, superior academic credentials, and clerkship experience (appellate preferred) are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing demonstrated by clerkship, law review, moot court or publication (from provided text).
• Experience with all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions, working with experts, and trial.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.
• Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues (contractual, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, admiralty).
• Clerkship experience, especially at appellate level, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters.
• Manage all stages of litigation from discovery through trial.
