Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Complex Director to drive profitable multi-office growth across a defined geography by shaping a compelling business plan and leading branch managers to execute.

You will drive revenue and asset growth, recruit and develop advisors, manage risk, and partner with operations to optimize the complex. The role requires in-office collaboration with some remote work and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 7–10 years of relevant experience
• Active FINRA Series 7, Series 24 or S9/10, S63 or S66
• Active IAR Registration (S65 or S66) and Life/Variable licenses
• Experience leading large teams and driving growth
• Strong presentation skills and executive presence

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable multi-office growth within a defined complex
• Lead branch and associate managers and build operations partnerships
• Execute the playbook to drive results and coach others
• Recruit, onboard, and ramp advisors; manage local pipelines
• Oversee client acquisition, retention, and productivity metrics
• Ensure brand standards, compliance, and risk management
• Conduct regular business reviews with leadership and teams
