Job summary

CNA seeks a Complex Claims Consultant specializing in Large Law claims from mid-sized firms to multinational law groups. You will manage complex professional liability claims, assess coverage and damages, set reserves, negotiate settlements and direct litigation in a collaborative environment.

The role supports a flexible hybrid schedule across CNA office locations, with emphasis on expertise in professional liability and large-firm dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required or JD preferred.
• Typically six years of relevant claim handling experience.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain Insurance Adjuster License where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of highly complex professional liability claims with specialized expertise.
• Verify coverage, establish reserves and develop resolution strategies.
• Negotiate complex settlements and, when needed, guide litigation with counsel.
