Mini-Hops Gymnastics in the western suburbs of Minneapolis is seeking an experienced coach to lead the competitive girls’ team, focusing on the development and training of athletes in DP Optional Levels 7–10 and upper-level Xcel, with an emphasis on advanced spotting and safe progressions.

The role requires independent coaching of advanced skills, a collaborative and professional approach, and a passion for helping athletes reach high-level goals in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Strong upper-level spotting skills with confidence spotting advanced gymnastics skills.
• Experience coaching optional-level athletes and advanced skill progressions.
• Extensive technical knowledge on bars, beam, floor and vault.

Responsibilities

• Coach and spot advanced skills independently and safely.
• Develop athletes in DP Levels 7–10 and upper-level Xcel (Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire).
• Ensure safety and progression-based training across all events.

This position primarily focuses on the development and training of athletes in:

• DP Optional Levels 7–10.
• Upper-level Xcel (Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire).

Advanced Spotting Ability Required.

We are specifically seeking a coach with:

About Us

Mini-Hops is a non-profit gymnastics organization located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Our state-of-the-art 48,000 sq. ft. facility is home to over 1,500 athletes across recreational, team, and academic preschool programs. Our girls’ pre-competitive, DP, and Xcel teams are 175 athletes strong, ages 5–18, and continuing to grow.
