Job summary

Mini-Hops Gymnastics is seeking an experienced coach to lead our competitive girls’ team, focusing on developmental progression through optional Levels 7–10 and upper-level Xcel programs (Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire).

Advanced spotting ability is required to safely spot complex skills; you’ll coach athletes toward high-level goals, applying strong safety practices, technical knowledge of bars, beam, floor and vault, and a collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• Strong upper-level spotting skills and confidence safely spotting advanced gymnastics skills.
• Experience coaching optional-level athletes and advanced skill progressions.
• Extensive technical knowledge on bars, beam, floor, and vault.
• Strong understanding of athlete development, safety, and progression-based training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train athletes in Optional Levels 7–10.
• Coach upper-level Xcel program (Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire).
• Spot and progress advanced gymnastics skills safely.
• Ensure safety and progressive athlete development.

Salary: $26–$36/hour, based on experience
Status: Full-time or Part-time
Additional Compensation: Private lessons & meet pay

About Us

Mini-Hops is a non-profit gymnastics organization located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Our state-of-the-art 48,000 sq. ft. facility is home to over 1,600 athletes across recreational, team, and academic preschool programs. Our girls’ pre-competitive, DP, and Xcel teams are 175 athletes strong, ages 5–18, and continuing to grow.
