Job summary

Mini-Hops Gymnastics seeks an experienced coach for its competitive girls' team, focusing on development and training of athletes in Levels 7–10 and upper-level Xcel groups. The role requires confident independent spotting of advanced skills and a commitment to athlete growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train athletes in developmental programs (Levels 7–10).
• Coach upper-level Xcel routines (Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire).
• Provide advanced spotting and ensure safety during progression-based training.

About The Role

Mini-Hops Gymnastics is seeking an experienced and passionate coach to join our competitive girls’ team program.

This position primarily focuses on the development and training of athletes in:

• Developmental Program - Optional Levels 7–10.
• Upper-level Xcel (Platinum, Diamond, Sapphire).

Advanced Spotting Ability Required.

We Are Specifically Seeking a Coach With

• Strong upper-level spotting skills and confidence safely spotting advanced gymnastics skills.
• Experience coaching optional-level athletes and advanced skill progressions.
• Extensive technical knowledge on bars, beam, floor, and vault.
• A strong understanding of athlete development, safety, and progression-based training.

About Us

Mini-Hops is a non-profit gymnastics organization located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. Our state-of-the-art 48,000 sq. ft. facility is home to over 1,600 athletes across recreational, team, and academic preschool programs. Our girls’ pre-competitive, DP, and Xcel teams are 175 athletes strong, ages 5–18, and continuing to grow.
