Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a Training and Development Specialist II in Abilene, TX to design, deliver, and evaluate core and specialty training for facility staff. You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure effective onboarding and ongoing development.

The role requires coordinating training sessions, updating curricula, and supporting disaster response and COOP readiness as part of the Facility Competency Train & Devel. team.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or overtime.
• Plans, designs, organizes, conducts and evaluates educational and training programs.
• Trains new employees during New Employee Orientation and refresher training.
