Job summary

Freddie Mac is seeking a Compensation Manager to lead a team and shape compensation and recognition programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. You will oversee enterprise compensation programs, annual processes, and Total Rewards initiatives to enable consistent, scalable decisions across the enterprise.

As a leader, you will drive data-driven analyses, collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and business teams, and shepherd Workday-enabled enhancements to improve efficiency

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive compensation experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
• College degree or equivalent; CCP preferred.
• Experience with base pay, incentive plans, market pricing.
• Strong communication with managers and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of compensation professionals.
• Oversee compensation programs, projects, and recurring processes.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and business teams.
• Provide data-driven analyses and practical recommendations.
• Lead improvements to compensation processes and Workday-enabled capabilities.
