Block is seeking a Compensation Strategy & Program Lead to drive automated, scalable total rewards programs in an AI-first operating model. You will own major pillars such as focal cycles, equity architecture, salary structures, and geo-pay, while partnering with data tooling teams to implement self‑service resources.

You will work within a lean Pod, collaborating across functions to ensure a cohesive global philosophy and policy‑driven governance that empowers managers to make informed pay

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise compensation programs end-to-end.
• Strong frontline consulting instincts with portfolio ownership.
• Ability to translate compensation rules into automated workflows and self-serve resources.
• Experience with data and analytics tooling to drive decisions.
• Fluency with modern compensation planning systems and HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver core compensation program portfolios and evolve ownership.
• Collaborate with peers to align global compensation philosophy and delivery.
• Build scalable, self-service tooling to reduce manual triage.
• Establish policy as code and governance for pay decisions.
• Advise leadership on talent market positioning and pay equity.
