Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Compensation Risk professional to operationalize risk management components of the compensation system, including validation and back testing for incentive plans and governance of the process.

The role emphasizes testing complex areas, monitoring executive compensation exceptions, and supporting annual risk assessments and training materials while collaborating with HR, risk, and senior leadership audience groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of applicable experience.
• Preferred skills include knowledge of risk/compliance/audit competencies, strong facilitation and communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation and back testing of Sales & Referral Campaigns, Volcker Compensation Requirements, Business Line Incentive Plans and the Corporate Risk Scorecard process.
• Monitor Executive Compensation Exception and Retention; assist in remediation plan reviews.
• Assist in annual business line plan risk assessments; represent Incentive Compensation Risk in renewal projects; attend meetings and document changes; perform UAT; update process documents and training materials; conduct QA of training materials.
• Build relationships with stakeholders in Human Resources, Risk, Corporate Communications and other related groups.

Education
