Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Compensation Risk professional to operationalize risk management components of the compensation system, including validation, back testing, governance, and training materials.

The role focuses on risk testing for Sales & Referral campaigns, Volcker requirements, incentive plans, and the Corporate Risk Scorecard. You will support annual risk assessments, participate in project renewals, and interact with senior committees and HR stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of applicable experience.
• Strong process facilitation, project management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer navigation using Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Applicable professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation and back testing of Sales & Referral Campaigns, Volcker Compensation Requirements, Business Line Incentive Plans and the Corporate Risk Scorecard process.
• Monitor Executive Compensation Exception and Retention; assist in remediation plan reviews.
• Assist in annual review of business line plan risk and balancing feature information; represent Incentive Compensation Risk in renewals.
• Attend project meetings; document required system changes; perform UAT for requested changes.
• Develop training, communications and presentation materials; conduct QA of materials.
• Maintain documentation and Sharepoint site; support Corporate Risk Scorecard communications.
