Job summary

Plaid is seeking an experienced Compensation professional to own compensation cycles and support across client groups in a fast-paced environment. You will work with the Head of Total Rewards, gaining exposure to equity program mechanics, exec compensation, and board deliverables.

You will manage annual and mid-year cycles, benchmark market data, and maintain pay bands while building models to guide leadership decisions.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years in compensation or total rewards.
  • Experience owning or co-owning a compensation cycle (YE or mid-year).
  • Benchmarking: job matching, survey submissions, competitive analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and modeling.
  • RSU/equity experience and ability to explain equity compensation.
  • Nice to have: private/pre-IPO experience and Plaid tech familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Own comp support for specific client groups with speed and accuracy.
  • Lead annual and mid‑year compensation cycles in Workday and comp tooling.
  • Manage comp systems: Compa, Pave, and external survey tools.
  • Run benchmarking analyses: market data pulls and pay positioning.
  • Maintain compensation bands and ranges, ensuring accuracy.
  • Build and maintain complex models to support program design and leadership.
  • Collaborate with team on high-priority workstreams during peak season.
