Job summary

Dow Jones & Co. is seeking a Compensation Coordinator to support daily compensation operations and data integrity. The role is based in NYC with a hybrid schedule, three days in the office, and a focus on accurate data handling and process improvements.

You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance to administer merit cycles, promotions, and benchmarking while maintaining compensation documentation and reporting for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy in high-volume information.
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for complex spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of compensation programs and ensure processes are accurate and timely.
• Maintain compensation data and transactions within HRIS and compensation systems.
• Assist with annual compensation processes including merit increases, promotions, and incentives.
• Prepare reports, audits, and data files for stakeholders and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct regular data audits and quality checks across systems and records.
• Coordinate workflows and approvals per policies and procedures.
• Support market pricing, benchmarking, and data updates.
• Assist with reporting and analytics for compensation reviews.
• Maintain documentation and SOPs for compensation processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardize processes.
• Manage the rewards and recognition platform and ensure data accuracy.
