Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Compensation Coordinator to support day-to-day administration of the organization’s compensation programs. You will ensure data accuracy, maintain systems, and assist with benchmarking and market analysis.

Based in NYC with a three-day-in-office schedule, you will report to the Manager, Compensation, and collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and other partners to ensure timely, accurate compensation processes.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy with handling high volumes of sensitive information.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills; manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for complex spreadsheets.
• Excellent analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative data and able to problem solve.
• Process-oriented mindset to create efficient, scalable processes and maintain controls.
• Strong communication and collaboration with HR, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and operations of compensation programs.
• Manage compensation data and transactions within HRIS and compensation systems.
• Assist with annual compensation processes including merit increases, promotions, and incentive planning.
• Maintain compensation data integrity across HR systems and reports.
• Prepare compensation reports and data files for stakeholders and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform regular data audits and quality checks to identify errors.
