Job summary

Prime Controls, a multi-state industrial automation leader, seeks a Compensation Analyst to lead market pricing, pay structures, and job architecture for a large workforce. You will own benchmarking activities and work with HR and executives to ensure internal equity and data-driven pay decisions.

The role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with field and corporate teams to maintain compensation accuracy across Texas and other project locations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in compensation analysis, HR analytics, or total rewards.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Experience with compensation survey tools and market pricing methodology.
• Experience building or maintaining job architecture, leveling, or job families.

Responsibilities

• Benchmarks field, technical, and corporate roles against external market data across job families and title structure.
• Builds salary ranges and pay bands aligned to job families, considering market movement and internal equity.
• Maintains job title and job family taxonomy; collaborates with HR and leaders on leveling and role classification.
• Produces compensation analyses and executive-ready reports using HR data.
• Supports administration of compensation policies and incentive programs.
• Advises managers on pay decisions including offers, promotions, and adjustments.
• Maintains compensation data within the existing HRIS without introducing new software.
• Prepares clear compensation materials and recommendations for HR leadership and executives.
• Monitors pay trends and regulatory developments relevant to multi-state footprint.
