Job summary

TEKsystems in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Compensation Consultant for a contract-to-hire role. Onsite 3 days per week - Tue, Wed and Thu - you’ll support compensation strategy, job evaluations, and data accuracy within HR systems like Workday.

You will analyze market data, conduct pay evaluations, and collaborate with HR, finance, and business teams to ensure accurate pay decisions and compliant practices. Prior experience with FLSA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of applicable compensation experience in a mid to large matrixed environment.
• Understanding of federal and state laws regarding compensation practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal compensation expert, providing guidance on pay decisions and policy interpretation.
• Review compensation data changes in HRIS and approve for payroll processing.
• Conduct job evaluations for new roles and re-evaluations based on market data.
• Partner with HR, business and finance to estimate cost impacts and maintain job descriptions.
• Develop market adjustment recommendations and geographic differentials.
