Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an early-career compensation analyst to support, analyze, and evolve compensation programs for a leading online financial banking institution in New York. The role offers high visibility and requires strong analytical capability and the ability to operate with limited structure.

You will own components of development and implementation, conduct market benchmarking, analyze salary structures and bonus programs, partner with Finance and PXT, and deliver executive-ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business, HR or related field.
• Experience with compensation program design and processes.
• 3-5 years of experience with a demonstrated track record of top-tier performance and compensation analysis.
• Exceptional analytical skills with ability to structure ambiguous problems and build models.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large datasets; data visualization experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly in new domains including AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compensation programs aligned with business strategy.
• Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to assess competitiveness of compensation structures.
• Analyze salary structures, incentive plans, and bonus programs; identify trends and opportunities.
• Partner with Finance and PXT to support compensation planning, forecasting, and year-end processes.
• Develop executive-ready analyses and recommendations, often with incomplete inputs.
• Leverage data analytics, visualization tools, and AI capabilities to enhance insights and decisions.
• Take ownership of key workstreams and projects, operating independently.
