Job summary

Gateway Services Inc. is seeking a Veterinary Route Service Specialist to represent the company with veterinary clinics and pet parents. You will manage a demanding route, handle pets with care, and perform pickups and deliveries on a strict schedule.

You’ll work independently, maintain professional relationships, and act as the primary contact for clinics while ensuring accuracy, dignity, and compassionate service in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service, account management, or route-based experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and CRM systems.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted clinic relationships.
• Ensure pets are handled and transported with dignity.
• Execute pickups and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Use company tech to scan pets and verify names/ids.
• Document requests and complete follow-through.
• Interact with pet parents with compassion and professionalism.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and uniform cleanliness and professionalism.
• Provide clinics with information on available services and commemorative options.
• Identify service opportunities and refer leads to Business Development.
