You’ll be the first contact for clients, manage the reception area, schedule appointments, and coordinate with the veterinary team to keep the hospital running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1 year of veterinary receptionist or veterinary experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Compassionate, calm, and team‑oriented approach
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming veterinary clients and their pets
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting reception area
• Answering phones, emails, and client questions and directing concerns to the appropriate team member
• Helping triage client concerns and determine the appropriate next steps
• Scheduling veterinary appointments to support an efficient daily workflow
• Checking clients in and out and accurately processing payments
• Communicating veterinary services, instructions, and information clearly and compassionately
• Providing emotional support to clients during difficult or stressful medical situations
• Working closely with the veterinary team to help create a positive client and patient experience
