Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Experience with veterinary management software and EMR systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a clinical setting.
• Ability to handle high-volume client interactions with composure.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and check in patients, verify and update medical records.
• Answer a multi-line phone system and schedule appointments.
• Process payments, post charges, and explain invoices at checkout.
• Communicate medical information with compassion, including end-of-life discussions.
• Maintain accurate EMR and data entry in the PIMS system.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to manage patient flow.
• Keep reception area clean and welcoming.
