Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong animal care and pet handling skills with attention to animal comfort.
• Ability to support veterinary medicine activities under supervision.
• Experience in client education and preventive care guidance.
• Customer service oriented with empathy and clear communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; veterinary assistant training preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift moderate weights in a fast-paced clinic.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn procedures.
• Experience in a veterinary clinic, animal shelter, or pet care setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Restock supplies and support basic lab and diagnostic tasks.
• Assist during exams and procedures, and monitor patient wellbeing.
• Support client check-in, history collection, and client education on preventive care.
• Document medical records accurately and help maintain flow of clinic operations.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a welcoming experience for clients and pets.
