Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program completion or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must perform NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant skills as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the flow of patients.
• Communicating with veterinarians and vet techs.
• Carrying out procedures that do not require veterinarian or vet tech assistance.
• Keeping pets safe and the treatment areas clean.
• Educating clients about preventive care and wellness plans.
• Mentoring other hospital team members.
