Windham Animal Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant in Windham, NH. This hybrid, full-time role blends client service with hands-on patient care, with flexible scheduling including some evenings and rotating Saturdays.

Veterinary experience is a plus, but a great attitude and teamwork matter most. You’ll greet clients, handle calls, schedule visits, process payments, and support the veterinary team while learning both reception and clinical tasks.

• Veterinary experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
• Manage multiple phone lines and provide exceptional telephone service.
• Schedule appointments and help coordinate the hospital's daily workflow.
• Process payments and assist clients during check-in and check-out.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Update client and patient information accurately.
• Assist veterinary technicians with safe patient handling and restraint.
• Help monitor patients and communicate concerns to the medical team.
• Clean and prepare treatment, exam, and patient-care areas.
• Assist with ordering and stocking hospital supplies.
• Support veterinarians, technicians, and teammates wherever needed.
