Job summary

Windham Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant for a hybrid, full-time role. Salary is negotiable based on experience and scheduling includes some evenings and rotating Saturdays.

Veterinary experience is a plus, but attitude and willingness to learn are valued. The role combines client service with hands-on patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on compassionate care for pets and their people.

  • Schedule appointments and help coordinate the hospital's daily workflow.
  • Process payments and assist clients during check-in and check-out.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Update client and patient information accurately.
  • Assist veterinary technicians with safe patient handling and restraint.
  • Help monitor patients and communicate concerns to the medical team.
  • Clean and prepare treatment, exam, and patient-care areas.
  • Assist with ordering and stocking hospital supplies.
  • Support veterinarians, technicians, and teammates wherever needed.
