Qualifications

• Previous veterinary experience preferred.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends as required.
• Familiarity with PPE and OSHA safety practices.
• Basic math for dosage calculations.
• Good computer skills and MS Office familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment.
• Monitor hospitalized pets and care for inpatients.
• Prepare prescriptions and perform routine in-house lab work.
• Take histories, vitals, and weights during outpatient exams and educate clients.
• Aide in surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and restock supplies.
• Communicate with clients and team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
