PetVet Care Centers' Southwind Animal Hospital in Memphis, TN is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians with daily tasks, patient care, and clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.
• Must have at least 6 months of veterinary clinical experience.
• 1 year of experience or greater in a veterinary clinic setting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, record weight and vital signs on arrival.
• Assist veterinarians with medications and patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain hospital equipment and clean facilities.
• Maintain accurate medical records and proper documentation.
