Job summary

OATS Transit is seeking a driver in Marshfield, MO for a full-time/part-time role. Responsibilities include assisting riders, securing mobility devices, vehicle cleanliness, and performing pre- and post-trip inspections.

CDL or Class E license required with clean record, must pass DOT physical, drug tests, and be bondable. The position uses an in-vehicle tablet for trip updates and requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work varied schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• CDL Class E or CDL license required with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must take and pass drug screening, and undergo random drug/alcohol testing.
• Must be bondable.
• Computer tablet experience a plus.
• Flexible to adjust to different schedules and routes.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus in a respectful manner.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices.
• Maintain clean, well-kept vehicle and equipment.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Use in-vehicle tablet for trip information and validation of pickups/drop-offs.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office promptly.
• Attend routine paid training.
• Comply with all federal/state/company rules and regulations.
