Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to conduct counseling sessions, develop treatment plans, and support patients in recovery. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, building rapport with individuals and groups, and connecting clients to community resources.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Compensation ranges $21.00–$24.00 per hour plus a bonus structure, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• MAADC, CRADC and CADC are required state credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling for patients recovering from drug use and alcohol disorders.
• Guide intake and orientation for new and returning patients.
• Connect patients with community resources and assist access to support.
• Follow up on referrals and complete required documentation.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, compassionate environment.
