Via Elegante Assisted Living & Memory Care in Arizona is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to join our Culinary Team and work with the Executive Chef to deliver high-quality meals in a safe, sanitary kitchen. You will lead, train, and coach staff, manage time in a fast-paced environment, and ensure top-notch customer service for residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Experience in food service; culinary experience preferred.
• ServSafe Management certification or able to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation with the Culinary Team.
• Ensure kitchen operations meet food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory, records, and material orders as needed.
• Prepare and direct food preparation when required.
• Conduct temperature, equipment, and chemical balance checks.
• Provide training and support to Kitchen Staff.
• Keep areas and equipment clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Deliver food and beverages to satellite kitchens across locations.
• Identify and resolve kitchen and community challenges.
• Assist with maintenance requests and community needs.
