Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join our team, offering permanent and temporary roles. The candidate will perform assessments, develop service plans, and provide counseling across mental health, family dynamics, crisis, and substance use.

The role requires MSW, licensure preferred; applicants with diverse backgrounds encouraged. You will advocate for clients, coordinate with providers and community resources, and maintain compliant records.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program is required.
• LMSW or LCSW licensing preferred but not mandatory for some roles.
• Experience working with diverse populations is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Develop individualized service plans that address client needs effectively.
• Provide counseling support to clients dealing with mental health concerns, family dynamics, crisis intervention, or substance abuse.
• Advocate for clients’ rights within healthcare settings or community resources.
• Coordinate services with other professionals including healthcare providers, governmental agencies, schools, and community organizations.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions including assessments, case notes, treatment plans in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal regulations.
• Stay informed about local resources available for clients to provide appropriate referrals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
