Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Texas. The role supports individuals and families, conducts assessments, develops service plans, and coordinates with healthcare providers and community resources.

Permanent and temporary positions are available; MSW is required, LMSW/LCSW preferred for some roles. Applicants with diverse experience and strong written communication are encouraged to apply. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program is required.
• LMSW or LCSW is preferred but not mandatory for all positions depending on role requirements.
• Experience with diverse populations is highly desirable; new graduates are encouraged for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, strengths and challenges.
• Develop individualized service plans addressing client needs.
• Provide counseling support for mental health, family dynamics, crisis intervention, or substance abuse.
• Advocate for clients’ rights within healthcare settings or community resources.
• Coordinate services with healthcare providers, governmental agencies, schools, and community organizations.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans in line with ethical and legal requirements.
• Stay informed about local resources to provide appropriate referrals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
