Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program is required.
• LMSW or LCSW preferred but not mandatory depending on role.
• Experience working with diverse populations encouraged; new grads may qualify for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Develop individualized service plans.
• Provide counseling for mental health, family dynamics, crisis, or substance use.
• Advocate for clients' rights with healthcare settings or community resources.
• Coordinate services with healthcare providers, schools, and agencies.
• Maintain accurate records per ethical and legal standards.
• Identify local resources for referrals and referrals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care meetings.
