HarborChase Sarasota is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, home-like environment for residents and staff in a senior living community.

The role involves cleaning common areas, resident rooms, and laundry duties while following safety guidelines and infection control standards. Prior experience in healthcare or senior living is preferred, with emphasis on safe chemical handling and equipment use.

Qualifications

• High school education is required.
• One year of experience in a senior community or healthcare environment preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety procedures preferred.
• Understand the steps for fire evacuation.

Responsibilities

• Clean all common areas including the lobby, guest restrooms and hallways.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas and upholstered furniture.
• Dust all furniture, hanging pictures and fixtures.
• Sanitize handrails and disinfect common areas and restrooms.
• Mop or vacuum common areas and clean glass surfaces.
• Launder resident linens, towels, sheets and other items per schedule.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely to prevent injuries.
