Job summary

Harbor Southlake Management LLC is seeking a conscientious housekeeping team member to maintain a clean, home-like environment for residents, families, and staff. You will clean and sanitize common areas, bedrooms, and laundry spaces, ensuring safety and order throughout the community.

Responsibilities include handling linens, discarding waste, and following infection control guidelines while coordinating with residents and colleagues to keep areas neat and safe.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education.
• Minimum one-year experience in a senior community or healthcare environment preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards and safety procedures preferred.
• Understand the steps for fire evacuation.

Responsibilities

• Clean all common areas including lobby, restrooms and hallways.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and upholstered furniture.
• Dust furniture, pictures and fixtures.
• Sanitize handrails and disinfect restrooms.
• Clean and disinfect doors, walls and glass surfaces.
• Polish and maintain cleanliness of common areas.
• Launder and manage resident linens per schedule.
• Ensure safe storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Assist with laundry and closet organization.
• Follow safety guidelines and proper body mechanics.
