Job summary

HarborChase of Sarasota is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, home-like environment for residents and staff in our senior living community. You will clean common areas and resident rooms, vacuum, dust, and sanitize to support a comfortable living experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobby, restrooms, hallways, laundry areas, and ensuring safe storage of cleaning supplies. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of healthcare or senior living

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year experience in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety procedures preferred.
• Understand steps for fire evacuation.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas including lobby, restrooms, and hallways.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and upholstery; dust furniture and fixtures.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces and bathrooms; mop floors.
• Clean and organize laundry areas and storage spaces.
• Ensure safe storage of cleaning chemicals and proper disposal.
• Maintain a safe environment by reporting hazards and following safety guidelines.
