Job summary

HarborChase of Madison is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor wellbeing, respond to calls, help with meals, and maintain a safe, comfortable environment. Strong communication and dementia-awareness are essential for meeting each resident’s unique needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Non-Certification with proper training, or possession of valid state CNA certification.
• 1–3 years experience in a senior care community or nursing home preferred.
• Understanding of Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease and its effect on behavior.
• Strong communication with management, residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provides residents with ADL assistance and quality care.
• Adheres to resident LOC and notifies supervisor of condition changes.
• Responds to resident calls promptly.
• Maintains dining room and resident rooms clean and organized.
• Escorts residents to meals and assists with eating as needed.
• Reports and records daily assignments and care notes.
• Ensures safety practices and proper body mechanics.
• Follows OSHA regulations and company policies.
